Colorado & New Mexico, 2025

This unforgettable journey through the Southwest was part grand adventure, part celebration. Our good friend Chris Baird masterminded the core itinerary—and we couldn’t resist tacking on a few “bonus miles” of our own before and after. Over two and a half wonderful weeks, we explored the stunning landscapes of New Mexico and Colorado.

This was our second great escape with the fabulous foursome from Tucson—Chris and Bonnie Baird, and Jane and Conrad Paul—and it felt extra special. We were enjoying friendship, wide-open roads, and most of all, Chris’s inspiring remission from multiple myeloma. Our last road trip together took us from Phoenix to Park City, but this one? It might have just topped the charts!
